Sink The Pink have announced their final event at Printworks.

After 14 years, the UK's largest LGBTQ+ club night will come to an end following a "Farewell Ball" at the 6,000 capacity former printing plant in South London on Friday, 15th April. 

London venue The Drumsheds will shut permanently this month, with the final event set for Saturday 29th January 2022. 

London's Printworks has announced its programme for spring and summer 2022, with the venue also preparing to celebrate its fifth birthday next year. 

Printworks has launched a new Bulldog Gin Courtyard.

The South London venue, which is linking up with Defected and Glitterbox for its New Year's Eve and New Year's Day parties this year, has revealed the new space heading for its outside area, after first introducing the Courtyard to Field Day Festival.

In order to achieve the highest level of realism and authenticity, a sound engineer opted to "swallow" a microphone in a bid to help perfect the noise made by the sandworm in the new sci-fi movie, 'Dune'. 

DC's forthcoming Batman movie, simply titled 'The Batman', features a scene filmed at London's Printworks.

The Surrey Quays venue's vast main room is recognisable in the background of the film's latest trailer, which was the first teaser to be unveiled for the Matt Reeves-directed film ahead of its debut in cinemas from March 2022.

Printworks has announced its full line-up for this year's autumn/winter season, with The Chemical Brothers, Sama' Abdulhadi, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Robert Hood, Todd Terry and ANNA among the huge list of names seet to appear in the London club.

London club Printworks has revealed details of a new room within the venue.

Inkwells, a new space which is located directly underneath the club's main hall, will be used as a third room for future events when Printworks reopens for its Autumn/Winter 2021 season next month. 

491 nightclubs have shut permanently in England in the past six years.

According to figures given to Radio 1 Newsbeat by UK Hospitality, a quarter of all clubs in the country have closed since 2015. Records indicate there were 1,694 clubs in England in 2015 and 1,203 in February this year.

Printworks has announced details of its reopening weekender, scheduled to take place in September. 

Taking place from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th September, the “Redacted” reopening parties will see the London venue going “back to basics”. There will be no line-up announcements and no official filming or cameras allowed on the dancefloor. The idea, Printworks says, is to “focus firmly on the music for a pure celebration of club culture”.
