Dave has announced the forthcoming release of his second album, ‘We’re All Alone In This Together’.

Due out later this month, the album follows on from 2019's 'Psychodrama' and comes after the rapper last week teased a collaboration with Stormzy, which is due to drop on July 9th and expected to be the record's lead single.

The winners of Ivor Novello Awards’ 65th edition were announced today (2nd September) via Apple Music. Originally scheduled to take place in May, the awards were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, and announced online in place of a conventional ceremony. 

London MC Dave has spoken about his experience working on the same project as David Attenborough, praising the legendary broadcaster and natural historian for his inspiring ethos and passion.

Stormzy, Little Simz and Dave are among the nominees for this year's Ivor Novello awards.

The annual awards, which serve as the biggest songwriting accolade in the UK and Ireland, were founded in 1956, and "recognise creative excellence in songwriting and screen composition." 

Among the artists nominated are London MC Stormzy, who is up for Best Song Musically and Lyrically for 'Crown', co-written by MJ Cole and Jimmy Napes.

Dave has called Boris Johnson a “real racist” during his BRIT Awards performance this week.

The South London rapper added a new verse to his freestyle track 'Black', which focuses on obstacles and prejudices facing black Britons while celebrating excellence, leaving no questions over his feelings about the UK Prime Minister. 

“It is racist, whether or not it feels racist, the truth is our Prime Minister’s a real racist / They say – ‘you should be grateful, we’re the least racist’ / I say the least racist is still racist.”

The nominations for this year's BRIT Awards have been announced, with Dave and Stormzy leading the list at four and three nominations respectively. 

Both are nominated in the Male Solo Artist category, Album of the Year category (Dave for 'Psychodrama' and Stormzy for 'Heavy is the Head) and Song of the Year category (Dave for the Burna Boy-featuring 'Location' and Stormzy for 'Vossi Bop). Dave is also nominated for Best New Artist.
