WATCH HOW TO MAKE A TRACK FROM SCRATCH WITH NOVATION’S CIRCUIT MONO STATION
Hardware Creation with Novation
Novation’s new Circuit Mono Station sits nicely with their new PEAK hybrid digital/analogue synth, the two synths together can be the makings of a very powerful music creation set up, especially when combined with the original Circuit groove box.
The original Circuit was a grid based groove box which comprised of two Novation polysynths and a four-part drum machine. It was a handy compact device that allowed DJ/producers to quickly sketch out grooves and tracks in a simple to use hardware format, with the new synth the Circuit family has been expanded but more than just being an update of the original the new Mono Station is a totally fresh instrument in its own right.
Check out our latest ‘In the Studio’ video where performance artist and Novation product demonstrator, Calc shows of the ability to create a ‘Track from Scratch’ just using the new Circuit Mono Station, Novation PEAK, the original Circuit Groovebox and with a little bit of help from Elektron’s Digitakt.
