Carl Cox may have closed out the last night at Space towards the end of 2016, but that didn’t signal the end of his association with Ibiza. He was back in the summer of 2017 for a couple of gigs for Resistance at Privilege, and while he was out on the White Isle we managed to snag him for a DJ Mag live stream.
This year’s Best of British Awards Party, powered by Relentless Energy Drink, is shaping up to be the biggest to date. Across three rooms, we’re bringing you performances from some of the UK’s most exciting artists.
From Solardo, Hannah Wants and Special Request, through to Mr.G (live), DJ Boring, Seb Zito, DJ Haus, Hatcha and more, its a killer Thursday night line up!

From his past on pirate radio to the arenas he's filling today, DJ EZ has gone from the face of UK garage to a world-famous brand almost in the space of a year.
Part of this recent meteoric rise was down to his 24-hour set for Cancer Research earlier this year, watched all over the world, which raised £60,000 in funds for the charity. So how did he manage it (and make it look so easy!)?
Just when you thought our 2016 Best Of British line-up couldn't get any bigger, we've only gone and added two more huge acts to this Thursday's epic bill.
Z Records boss and disco king Joey Negro will be joining us to celebrate his nomination for Best Compilation, whilst PBR Streetgang will bring their brand of classy house and techno to EGG Club London's main dancefloor.
DJ EZ will headline DJ Mag's Best Of British awards next Thursday, 15th December at London's EGG Club.
He'll join already announced headliners Alan Fitzpatrick, Denis Sulta, DJ EZ, Lauren Lo Sung and Lee Walker, alongside sets from Solardo, Stanton Warriors and the DJ Mag All Stars, with more headliners still to come.
The night will also include a short awards ceremony to announce the winners of each category which have been voted for by DJ Mag readers, with Best DJ, Best Producer and Best MC some of the gongs up for grabs.
Following the launch of our Best Of British poll, DJ Mag can now confirm the date of our annual B.O.B awards ceremony and party — and tickets are currently £1.
It's kicking off from 8pm on Thursday 15th December at our usual haunt of EGG Club London — we've hosted a huge number of acts in the club over the last 12 months including Anja Schneider, Pete Tong, Chris Liebing, Solomun, Detroit Swindle and many more.
Gold Panda has announced that he will release a new EP, titled ‘Your Good Times Are Just Beginning’, later this week on Friday 18th November. Before it lands he’s shared the video for the title track which you can watch below.
‘Your Good Times Are Just Beginning’ is a six-track EP featuring two new tracks, as well as remixes by Fort Romeau, John Roberts and Daisuke Tanabe.
