Death Row Records will reissue classic albums from the likes of 2Pac and Snoop Dogg on cassette this year.
LA-based label Death Row Records, founded by Dr. Dre, Suge Knight, The D.O.C. and the late Dick Griffey, catapulted West Coast hip-hop in the spotlight throughout the early '90s, releasing some of the most iconic rap albums of all time.

Last month the LA-based producer shared 'Come And Go Remixed' — the first installment pack from the upcoming 'Oasis Nocturno Remixed' LP slated for release later this year. Featuring reworks courtesy of French producer Dombresky, Halogenix, and Damian Lazarus, TOKiMONSTA has now announced the second EP, 'Get Me Some Remixed', landing next month.
Illegal rave in LA condemned by health experts
An Illegal rave that took place in Los Angeles last weekend has been condemned by health experts.
Event organisers Technometrik hosted the party last weekend, which took place in a South L.A. warehouse, and charged $20 for entry to the over 21s party. Despite the event lacking permits and proper regulations, tickets were available to purchase online.

Ableton's LOOP summit has announced the first names for its yearly creative gathering, this time taking place in LA over Berlin. Having impressed in 2017, Ableton decided to move the summit to the West Coast, and the first wave of names invovled have now been confirmed.
Ableton Loop 2018 Registration Now Open
Ableton's LOOP summit has opened its registration for those wishing to attend the 2018 edition. Having taken place in Berlin since its inception in 2015, the German DAW dudes announced earlier this year they are bringing the event to LA. Featuring talks, workshops, panels and demos, LOOP is an opportunity to meet other Ableton heads, hear from those using the software in innovative ways and try out the latest kit pushing music-making forward.
Ableton move LOOP Summit to Los Angeles
Ableton are moving their popular summit Loop to LA for 2018. Taking place from 9th November to 11th November, the event - previously taking place in Berlin’s Funkhaus - will now happen in Los Angeles, where Ableton have a budding community of passionate users. LA’s Ableton groups were highlighted in a short video a few years back so it makes sense they’ve shifted their focus to the West Coast.
