Now he’s readying his latest 12” outing, comprised of two riotous cuts of dancefloor heat with clattering percussion and razor-sharp bass and vocal sampling.

Noel Gallagher has revealed that he’s started work on his next solo album, adding that it will have a “’70s disco” vibe to it.
Speaking at a Q&A at Kings Place in London to launch his new book, Any Road Will Get Us There (If We Don’t Know Where We’re Going), Gallagher said that he hopes to release the album next year and that he’d been working on it at Abbey Road Studios in recent weeks with producer David Holmes.

Two accidental kings were born: Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager. Together, they invented the modern nightclub experience.
Secret backer Jack Dushey is also interviewed. “At first [Schrager] was reticent, it was difficult to reflect honestly on the period where he went to prison for tax evasion,” Tyrnauer says. But he ends up giving rare truth via unprecedented, careful access, to glorify Studio 54 to its rightful place as the Apple of clubs. “I didn’t want to make a celebrity documentary because that’s been done. And it’s boring.”
