Carl Cox has self-confirmed he will be on the line-up for Glastonbury 2020. 

The UK legend will head to Worthy Farm for the event's much-anticipated 50th anniversary edition, as he explained to our team in the aftermath of this year's DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll reveal during ADE last Saturday. You can watch the video of the interview below. 

Carl Cox has won the Highest Techno award in this year’s DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll. The legendary UK DJ landed the No.35 spot overall.

“I haven’t stopped since 1988,” Coxy tells DJ Mag. “Can you imagine if I mapped out every single party I’ve ever done, the map would be riddled with pin-drops everywhere - it would be a complete rash of events that I’ve done.”

Carl Cox cut the music mid-set during a gig in Athens last weekend to break up a dancefloor scuffle.

The beloved DJ/producer was playing at Techniques festival when a fight broke out during his set at the Gazi Music Hall. On a video filmed from the crowd, Coxy can be heard saying "Stop this shit, it's too fucking good in here right now for this aggression," before explaining he will only continue his set if the fighting stops.

Described on Playground BRC’s SoundCloud page as a “maximum energy” mix, the 90-minute set is a techno heavy affair that includes classics like The Bucketheads ‘The Bomb! (These Sounds Fall Into My Mind)’.

Running from 25th August to 3rd September in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada, Burning Man sees the temporary Black Rock City co-created by participants of the festival.

Danny Tenaglia and Carl Cox feature on the new Hot Creations EP, 'Don't Turn Your Back', which arrives 27th September.  

The release marks Tenaglia's debut for the label, and his solo return to the release schedule after over a decade, with 'Space Dance' dropping in 2008, although two years ago he appeared on Layton Giordani's Drumcode track, 'Live Again'.

Weekend one of the festival, which took place from the 25th to 28th July, featured sets from Eric Prydz, Adam Beyer, Skepta and many more.

DJ Mag will be live streaming sets by Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, and more from Barcelona's OFFSonar this year. 

The Barcelona festival, which has also announced Marcel Dettman, Gerd Janson and John Talabot, will host DJ Mag live streams for the Woomoon party next Thursday 18th July, featuring Luciano, the Drumcode party on Saturday 20th, and the Closing Party on Sunday 21st.

Carl Cox and Maceo Plex will go b2b at Serbia's EXIT Festival next month, at Novi Sad's Petrovaradin Fortress.

Taking place from the 4th to the 7th July, EXIT will welcome the likes of Amelie Lens, Boris Brejcha, Dax J, Jeff Mills, Peggy Gou and many more across the two-day festival.

Previous editions of the festival have featured some of the biggest names in dance music team up, with the likes of Dixon and Ame, Carl Cox and Green Velvet and Eric Prydz and Adam Beyer all going b2b across its 10 year history of EXIT.

Game Over have revealed the full line-ups for Carl Cox's One Night Stand Ibiza parties, which will be held at DC10 this summer. 

Three dates are confirmed at the venue, each packing a huge list of names from the techno and house worlds.
