Houghton cancels 2021 festival
Houghton Festival has been cancelled.
In a statement posted on social media, organisers of the annual festival - which was due to return to Houghton Hall in Norfolk next month - said they have had no choice but to postpone the festival for the third year in a row. They cite issues with the UK government's track and trace system and, more generally, the lack of a clear COVID-19 road map. You can read the festival's statement below.

Yam Carnival will take place on Clapham Common on 28th August, and features a stacked line-up of artists from across the globe, bringing the sounds of Afrobeats, hip-hop, house, gqom, Afro-swing, R&B and more to three stages.

The Craig Richards-curated festival was due to run from tonight (8th August) to Monday morning (12th) but, following warnings of issued by the Met Office of 40 MPH winds, thunderstorms and heavy downpours in Norfolk, it has been cancelled.
