The track, Lunice said in a statement, "was made from that collective feeling of, 'OMG, maybe there actually ARE going to be parties again'. That feeling seemed to inspire the first principles of the TNGHT project: Keep it really fun. Dumb. Hard-hitting. Don't overwork it."
Hudson Mohawke added: "This one really showcases our two distinct styles and how well they still work together despite their sonic differences."
TNGHT have announced their first live shows in over six years.
The duo, made up of Hudson Mohawke and Lunice, recently dropped a string of singles leading up to the release of their brand new EP 'II', which came out this week via Warp Records.

In September, the duo, originally known for upfront trap productions, began unveiling new material by way of 'Serpent', with 'Dollaz' arriving just weeks later. Their first shared music since 2012's self-titled debut, they also dropped a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix last month.

Titled 'TNGHT II', the seven-track EP is preceded by new track 'Dollaz', which you can hear below, and will arrive via Warp Records on November 12th. The pair describe their work on the EP as the most fun they've had in the studio together.
Speaking about the EP, Lunice says: "While it doesn’t sound the same as the first record - the energy is. This could only come from us."

The duo's first collaborative effort in over five years, Hudson Mohawke and Lunice have come together as TNGHT on their latest effort for Warp Records, 'Serpent'.
Canadian DJ/producer Lunice originally signed to Mohawke's LuckyMe in 2010, and released his EPs 'Stacker Upper' and 'One Hunned' via the imprint. Lunice and Mohawke first collaborated as TNGHT in 2012, with their seminal self-titled EP.
