London's XOYO has announced an incredible array of talent for Heidi's forthcoming Jackathon residency.
The Canadian-born, London-based star, who learned her trade in the record shops of the UK capital before landing a residency on BBC Radio 1 in the mid-2000s, set up her Jackathon party brand in 2009.
Having toured it around the globe, Heidi now brings Jackathon back to London from October to December, hosting the crème de la crème of house and techno every Friday night.
Amongst those handpicked to join Heidi are Madhouse boss Kerri Chandler, The Black Madonna (for a back-to-back bonanza!), Modeselektor, DJ Pierre and Tuff City Kids.
Plus, to round off the residency, the final two parties will be Heidi's Birthday Extravaganzas. On Friday 16th December, she'll be joined by techno legend Richie Hawtin from 3pm to 10.30pm, and DJ Mag Best of British award-winner, Maya Jane Coles, and electroclash pioneer, Miss Kitten, from 11pm 'til 4am.
"I'm beyond excited to bring my Jackathon parties to London for 11 whole weeks," says Heidi via press release. "Where I've been able to have the freedom to book DJ's that have all moved me in some way before I started out in this biz and beyond. Every one of them has a different vibe from the next which gives it the diversity that I always try to achieve with my parties. Being able to do it in the city I live in is an added bonus. So everyone get ready to dance harder then you ever have before. Faces down.....asses up. Let's do this and sweat out our weekly demons."
