Melbourne Music Week has locked Miss Kittin, Soichi Terada, Nu Guinea and more for its 2019 events.
Action will focus on the Kubik hub venue at Alexandra Gardens, purpose built for the showcase, where performances will come from Andy Stott, CC: Disco, Radio Slave, Mark Flash and Monolake in addition to the names mentioned above.
Other events will be held across the city, with stand out tickets including Robert Henke's Lumière IIIx show at the stunning Melbourne Recital Hall, German post punks DAF live and a closing party hosted by promoters Crown Ruler and Bizarro, featuring Germany's Luca Lozano, Klasse Records' Mr. Ho and homegrown electro-houser Roza Terenzi.
Australia has made DJ Mag headlines for more than a few of the wrong reasons in recent times thanks to major licensing and security problems at festivals. Thankfully, though, the controversial lock-out laws in Sydney and a perceived 'War On Festivals' could now be permanently committed to the history books.
