German DJ Roman Flügel waved goodbye to 2015 in a spectacular way over the weekend, with a stunning new Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1.
It's a deft selection of crisp techno anthems from the musical chameleon, including unreleased music from Talaboman, the collaborative project between John Talabot and Axel Boman, and a new DJ Koze remix. There's also cuts from UK names including Daniel Avery, Bicep and Andrew Weatherall, plus new cult tracks by Medlar and Cosmic TRG.
You can listen back to Roman Flügel's Essential Mix via the Radio 1 website here, plus find the full tracklist below. Don't miss Roman when he plays at Fabric London on 27th April as part of the Live At Robert Johnson tour next year.
