ARTHUR RUSSELL DISCO CLASSIC ‘GO BANG #5’ TO BE REISSUED
Coming via Get On Down US later this month
An '80s disco classic by Arthur Russell will be reissued by Get On Down US this April.
‘Go Bang #5’, released under Russell’s Dinosaur L alias, originally came out on New York label Sleep Bag Records in 1982. The repress will feature Francois K’s mix of the track and an additional mix by re-edit legend Walter Gibbons.
Get On Down US are also planning to re-release a track by notable NY disco duo Class Action. ‘Weekend’ will include the original vocal version along with a dub, acapella and Larry Levan remix.
Both will be released on 18th April.
