This shockingly fun remix for Scissor Sisters, summons the spirit of the early house sound of New Jersey, dub-disco touches a la Paul Simpson and thumping DX7 basslines/punchy pianos in the style of Debbie Parkin's/Smack Productions' proto-garage. OK, it's totally retro and maybe a little too pastiche for a lot of tastes, but it's nodding back to one of my favourite eras of boogie/early house music, and the better for it, I say.
