Berlin’s Institute for Sound and Music has revealed plans for its "Hexadome" exhibition.
The exhibition, which will open in Berlin at Martin-Gropius-Bau on 29th March and run until 22nd April, makes use of 360-degree technology to create an audiovisual experience that aims "to redefine the museum experience".
The exhibition will feature a wide range of installations and live performances from the likes of Brian Eno, Thom Yorke, Tarik Barri, Holly Herndon, Mat Dryhurst, Jemma Woolmore, Ben Frost, MFO and more.
The Hexadome utilises state of the art audio technology in its multi-channel soundsystem. The "Klangdom", as it is called, is made by ZKM Institute For Music And Acoustics.
Once the exhibition finishes up in Berlin, the Hexadome will tour across Europe and the U.S. in 2019.
