GO VIP WITH DJ MAG AT GLOBALGATHERING | DJMagAdmin.com Skip to main content

We host the VIP area with secret DJ sets from headliners

Last year's GlobalGathering was the best we have been to. The GG crew trawled their long-standing home of Long Marston Airfield in Stratford-Upon-Avon and unearthed previously unused parts of the site, including a subterranean bunker!

The up-weighted production on-site also saw the debut of the Shipping Arena, formed entirely of shipping containers — and hosted by James Zabiela's Born Electric crew on Friday and Toolroom on the Saturday.

On consideration though, perhaps our favourite section was the forest-based VIP. Not only does it stay open an hour later than the other stages (for our fellow nocturnals) but it also featured a treehouse-style design with plenty of room to rave or relax, depending on your wants.

We liked the VIP so much, in fact, that we decided there and then that we wanted to be a part of it in 2014. So that is what we are doing! We will be dragging our DJ mates — fresh from the main arenas — in for secret, alternative sets, announced just beforehand on Twitter.

So you might see your favourite trance DJ rocking a classics set, or a headline d&b rinser dropping disco or garage. We have plenty up our sleeves, so be sure to grab a VIP ticket from globalgathering.com/tickets so you don't miss out!

Obviously it's not all about the VIP, though. The event, which takes place on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th July, features headliners including The Prodigy, Chase & Status, David Guetta and Alesso alongside the likes of MK, Jamie Jones, Dixon, Sub Focus, Eric Prydz, Kamo & Crooked and Maya Jane Coles. The arena hosts include Godskitchen, Born Electric, Paradise, Circus, Defected and Hospitality... and us of course!

Weekend tickets are available now priced at £120+BF and VIP tickets are £195+BF. If you can't stump up all the cash right away, they have deposit payment schemes so you can guarantee your place while spreading the cost.

We'll see you on the airfield!
